Wow this last week has been a bit different!  Between us we've spent a few hours over the last two days dancing with sheep! Actually trying to round them up from all over Caburn but they had other ideas and had you been a passer by it would have looked like we were all dancing with them, waving and lunging about on the hillside like lunatics!  Here they are looking like butter wouldn't melt...

Plants on the other hand seem to be behaving themselves.  We've planted 1,000 seeds or so and they've started to stick their heads above the parapet, which is most rewarding.  Rosemary and I finished training the brambles, so a few more scratches and sore muscles but it'll be well worth it when we can pick the fruit without further injury.

Other jobs continuing at the gardens are digging the beds for the cut flowers and making our compost heaps.  Another wave of planting this weekend, gladioli bulbs ready to go in.  We are also working in the tea room garden - looks like another fine day for gardening today - so onward and upward - to the garden!
