Community 21 is a joint initiative between University of Brighton and The Rural Community Council, Action in Rural Sussex which has resulted in the development of an online ‘toolbox’, social networking and data management system to facilitate community networking and engagement, information management and community led planning processes for 21st Century, sustainable communities.

Building upon existing grass roots community action plans already developed by the majority of Sussex villages  “The project aims to form a national platform for interconnectivity and engage positive action across the country”. The project will be piloted very soon and the co-director Nick Gant who made the presentation at the recent Brighton University "Making the invisible visible" conference was very interested in our village connections site!
